FAQs

What SEO packages do you offer and how much do they cost?

Every business is unique, and each website requires a unique strategy and level of attention to achieve its full SEO potential. For this reason, I don’t offer fixed SEO packages as what works for one campaign might not work for another.

I offer a more personalised approach to quoting to ensure you only pay for what you need. My pricing is based on the scope of the project and the amount of work required to achieve your desired results.

Not every business requires the same level of service or the same SEO strategy so I believe this is the most fair and transparent way to provide you with the best possible SEO service.

What is SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the practice of optimising a website to improve its visibility and ranking on search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

In the context of your business, SEO is a digital marketing strategy that puts your website at the top of search engines for a wide range of search queries or "keywords" related to your products or services.

When your website ranks higher in search results for relevant queries, it's more likely that potential customers will visit your website, learn about your business, and potentially purchase your product or engage you for your services.

SEO isn't an overnight solution however and it takes time to build the credability required to rank at the top of search engines. There are over 200 ranking factors that can affect a website's rankings which is where an SEO specialists comes in.

I’m an absolute SEO nerd and through years of first hand experience and keeping up to date with all of the latest trends, tests and algorithm updates, can help take the guesswork out of ranking your business on search engines.

Who is SEO for?

As long as you understand that SEO is a medium to long-term digital marketing strategy, just about any business who wants to:

  • Improve their online visibility
  • Attract more organic (unpaid) traffic
  • Generate leads or sales via search engine result pages (SERPs)

can benefit from hiring an SEO specialist.

This isn’t to say you can’t achieve short-term wins & results however. It isn’t uncommon for a website to have at least a couple of opportunities to see short-term results through SEO.

I always look for these opportunities when I’m creating your SEO strategy and will prioritise these short-term opportunities if they will have a genuine impact on your overall return on investment.

Who is SEO not for?

While I’ve witnessed the benefits SEO can have on a business, unfortunately SEO is not suited for everyone. From my experience there are certain situations and types of businesses who may not benefit from an SEO Campaign. These include:
  1. Businesses who have a very small local customer base: If your business only serves a very small local community and you have no plans to expand beyond that, SEO may not be the best option for you. In this case, it may be more effective to focus on local advertising and word-of-mouth marketing. At Highline SEO, I’m transparent when it comes to providing recommendations on whether SEO is right for you. If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to reach out so I can complete keyword research on your industry or niche and provide you with recommendations going forward.

  2. Businesses who have a very limited budget: SEO can be expensive, especially if you're competing in a highly competitive niche. If you have a limited budget, it might be difficult to get the most out of SEO. More budget means more content and more time available to spend on an account. A ballpark number for minimum spend is tough to say because the time it will take to get a website ranking is always going to differ from site to site. If you have a limited budget (Less than $600 per month) don’t hesitate to contact me for a complimentary & obligation free consultation. I always try my hardest to come up with an SEO strategy to suit just about any budget.

  3. Businesses who want immediate results: SEO is a long-term strategy that takes time and effort to see results. If you need to see immediate success from your digital marketing spend, I recommend that you look at hiring a PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Specialist who can help you set up Google Ads. Although it costs money everytime someone clicks your ad link, it allows you to buy your way to the top of search engine result pages (SERPs). If your website doesn’t rank for many/any keywords relevant to your business and you need customers now, PPC can be more financially lucrative in the short term.
